FAQs
- Insurance work? Yes. We have successfully up-negotiated missed scope of work (for one client with a large home, we found and secured nearly $40,000 of missed scope). We have worked with several insurance companies in performing reroof- and even additional involved trades- work claims, whether due to hail, storm, or wind.
- Reroof timeline? Shingle reroofs can typically be done in 1–3 days, depending on size. Tarps are placed to protect bushes/plants. Standing seam metal can take 1-4 weeks due to the extensive hands-on labor and attention to flashings/detail such as eave and rake trim installation, bending and crimping of panels around the perimeter edge, installation of J-Channel or Z-bar and ridge caps, drilling and rivet work, and chimney/valley/sidewall flashing detail work.
- Scheduling? We generally deliver materials on-site and begin work within a few days of signing contract/downpayment. Some projects such as standing seam metal require roughly 2 weeks to arrange for rolling of panels, forming of trim package, and delivery/staging of these materials.
- Brands? We usually install GAF brand shingles, though we can install any brand at customer’s preference.
- Hail inspection? Yes, we know ways to discern probable hail impacts and differentiate them from heat blisters, footprints, degranulation, etc. That said, certain insurance companies (State Farm, Allstate) generally deny claims that other insurance companies (Alfa, USAA) would approve (similar density and impact of hail).
- Vehicles in driveway? Yes, we advice that vehicles be moved far enough away from roof to avoid any debris hitting them. We generally bring a pull-behind trailer for loading the old shingles into. We clean up for nails with a magnet as well as use tarps to minimize debris.

Past clients include government entities A-Vet Roofing (gym/daycare roof recover at Fort Rucker involving some steel framing as well as robot-seamed metal) and DTI (flat-lock copper at GWC Museum in Tuskegee, AL); contractors Dilworth Development (repairs or specialty installs), Tucker Brown Properties, The Infiniti Group, and Conner Brothers; and hundreds of individual homeowners and property owners.
