Copper Roofing

Copper has been used for centuries, and is a product that can last 100-300 years (often installed on cathedral roofs). Once again, there are many varieties: panel copper (like standing seam, either with added cap or with single- or double-lock using dead-blow hammers and special anvils/tools), copper shingles, and copper flat-lock.

Copper can be quite pricey, and for this reason, it is often used simply for aesthetic accents, such as on dormer roofs. Copper, like regular metal, can be formed into swoops and barrels, using a shrinker and stretcher on the vertical ribs.
